We Walked. We Spoke. The Earth Heard Us.
Walk For The Earth – Earth Day 2025
On April 22, 2025, the streets of Dhaka came alive with urgency, unity, and hope as youth from across Bangladesh took part in Walk For The Earth, a flagship Earth Day mobilization organized under the banner of the Bangladesh Earth Summit 2025—proudly hosted by the Young Climate Action Network (YOUCAN).
This was no ordinary walk. It was a statement—bold, visible, and unshakable. Together, we marched to demand what every citizen deserves and every future depends on:
Clean air. Green transport. Safe, climate-resilient cities.
Organized as part of the Bangladesh Earth Summit 2025, this youth-led mobilization brought together students, activists, environmentalists, and community leaders under one shared call to action: to walk for the planet and speak for justice. The energy on the ground reflected the unwavering determination of a generation no longer willing to stay silent in the face of climate breakdown.
Walk For The Earth was more than an event—it was a collective step forward. A movement where young voices led the way, where climate justice became not just a slogan but a lived demand. Through banners, chants, and solidarity, participants reminded the world that the time to act is not tomorrow, but now.
“Let the world know—we’re not waiting. We are walking towards the future we believe in.”
This Earth Day, YOUCANreaffirmed our commitment to inclusive climate action and youth-led transformation. Because when young people move together, the world listens—and change becomes unstoppable.
