Background

YOUCAN Global is a youth-led international organization working on climate action, youth empowerment, peacebuilding, and sustainable development. The Office of the Executive Director coordinates the operational, strategic, and administrative functions of the organization.

The Executive Assistant Intern will provide direct administrative, documentation, and reporting support, contributing to smooth functioning and strategic delivery. This role offers hands-on experience in a youth-led, international organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Administrative Support:
    • Manage ED’s calendar, appointments, and meetings
    • Draft emails, letters, reports, and presentations
    • Organize documents, maintain filing systems, and ensure confidentiality
    • Assist in preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders
    • Coordinate communications with staff, volunteers, and partners
  • Operational Support:
    • Assist in organizing workshops, webinars, and internal meetings
    • Support project monitoring, documentation, and reporting activities
    • Track organizational deliverables and deadlines
    • Ensure compliance with internal policies, safeguarding protocols, and data protection
  • Documentation & Reporting Support:
    • Draft and edit reports, briefing notes, and presentations
    • Collect, collate, and systematize organizational and project information
    • Support knowledge management, including preparing materials for dissemination
  • General Responsibilities:
    • Undertake day-to-day administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations
    • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
    • Take initiative to improve processes and support ED’s office efficiently

Qualifications

  • Current student or recent graduate (any discipline)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English & Bangla
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace, MS Office, and office tools
