Our key messages included:

Reforming and depoliticising education to safeguard studentsโ rights
-
Ensuring transparent, inclusive, and accountable governance
-
Centering climate justice for people living on the frontlines
-
Expanding meaningful youthโCommonwealth collaboration
-
Integrating mental health within national development priorities
During the exchange, YOUCAN emphasised:
โBangladeshโs young people refuse to inherit a broken system. We want a climate-resilient, democratic and future-ready nation and we will speak up for the future we deserve.โ
The Secretary-General praised the depth and clarity of youth leadership in Bangladesh, calling young changemakers โa driving force for the future.โ
For YOUCAN, this engagement represents more than a meeting it is a milestone.
